Bob Marley Unites Humanity in the World’s Biggest Sing-along (Video)

There’s nothing like a Bob Marley song to brighten up your day, but would you be game enough to sing it with total strangers on public transport? Well, commuters around the world did just that on a Monday morning commute when they took part in the world’s biggest sing-along – and the vision is set to become a viral hit.

Marley’s hit song ‘Three Little Birds’ took centre stage on buses, trains, and boats in 18 countries and 25 cities around the world. Hundreds of unsuspecting passengers were handed lyrics and encouraged to take part in the sing-along. So what happened next? You’ll have to watch the video to find out.

WATCH: 400 Strangers Spontaneously Break Into Dance!

We’d never attempted something of this size before, the social experiment was to see if we could inspire hundreds of strangers to dance like nobody was watching in public. We prepared a giant moving sound system as seen in this picture and rolled into the centre of town with turbo charged butterflies in our stomachs.

TEDx Talk That Changed My Life

I took a number of risks in presenting this speech at TEDx Perth to over 1500 of Perth’s most influential people at the red carpeted Perth Concert Hall. Moments before jumping on stage I was supposed to be getting ready, rehearsing my speech but instead I was rallying troops backstage to surprise the entire audience flashmob style with a last minute concept I was sure was going to transform the speech into something worth talking about (Be sure to watch till the end if you want to find out what happens for a first time on TED!).

The speech itself is only 15 minutes long and takes a concise look at 3 of my most influential pieces of work and how they’ve gone on to effecting the world & myself personally. I dive into the idea of how my experiment trusting others in public has exploded into a global movement for peace, how dancing with others on a train changed my life forever & the way in which sharing eye contact in public allows for humans to participate in rebuilding our sense of peace on earth.

The Winter Monday morning blues instantly dissolved in Perth, Australia as an entire carriage of passengers spontaneously joined The Liberators in singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow on their way to work this week!

Dance Party in Indian Restaurant Video!

Last Tuesday we discovered this amazing pay-by-donation Indian restaurant was under threat of closure after recent city construction work had reduced it’s customer base by 50%.  I’d been to this place with friends a few times before and was deeply touched by it’s trust building community centric nature. I thought it would be great to gather some of the Liberators to have a dinner there to help support them on Thursday night. It was only 2 days to promote but within minutes we already had more than 30 people attending.

This gave me the idea to give back to the givers in the way of dance party from within the restaurant. I gave Arun the owner a call and told him of the idea to help his restaurants message travel. He was taken back by the offer at first but he trusted me and said yes. He also offered to give me access to the microphone and inbuilt sound system.
